Review: Uppercut Deluxe Shampoo & Conditioner
As a man who applies hair products daily, I know removing waxes and pastes from your hair can sometimes be difficult. Add sea water or chlorinated pool water in the summertime, and the challenge becomes twice as hard. At the moment, I’m on holiday and couldn’t think of a better time to test Uppercut Deluxe Shampoo & Conditioner’s efficiency in removing hair product and restoring moisture.
Product name: Uppercut Deluxe Shampoo & Conditioner
What it does: This shampoo and conditioner duo are designed to clean and restores body, making hair manageable. Uppercut Deluxe Shampoo features an anti-irritant complex of liquorice, Camomile and Panthenol to moisturise and reduce oiliness. Peppermint extract has also been added to provide an energising boost. Uppercut Deluxe Conditioner features a number or conditioning ingredients to restore body and moisture.
Results: I found the shampoo to be efficient in removing hair product and balancing hair. The inclusion of mint refreshes the scalp and provides a nice cooling sensation which is incredibly soothing in summer. The conditioner adds much-needed moisture and softens the hair. I like to leave the conditioner in my hair as long as possible especially after a swim. I found when combining both products my hair had volume and was easy to style afterwards. Hair feels soft and clean – these products do exactly what they should and are pleasant to use.
How to Use: Apply one pump of shampoo and massage through hair. Rinse and then apply conditioner again massage through hair. Leave conditioner in for at least a few minutes then rinse.
